Some Kind of Theatre is am emerging Edinburgh-based theatre company specialising in classics of the English literary canon, with an especial care and interest in making their work accessible to audiences regardless of ability or disability. From their Shakespeare on the Sofa series to adaptations of Virginia Woolf, Some Kind of Theatre has used a portable stage to bring theatre to people who might not be able to get there otherwise.
Since their establishment in 2015, Sarah Whillier has had a working association with Some Kind of Theatre, including being the original inventor of the giant binder book that forms the main backdrop and prop for most of their works.
